Hope in Northern Virginia, a Christ-centered pregnancy center, has been providing compassionate support to women facing crisis pregnancies for 52 years. Founded by Dorothy Garrett in response to the rising acceptance of abortion in the 1970s, the center initially offered housing and care before transitioning to focus on educational, material, and spiritual support. Over time, Hope expanded its services to include medical care, such as ultrasounds, and moved to a new location near a Falls Church abortion clinic. The center’s services remain free, and it continues to rely on the dedication of its staff, volunteers, and generous donors.
